Dichroic Glass Pendants
One of my sidelines is making fused glass jewelry. I do a limited number of pieces and enjoy the diversion. I guess it gives my left brain a chance to do something. As well as the right side which sees the artistic side of things. Old left brain gets to do the glass cutting, gluing and time the fusing. Not always successfully but lots of surprises. I like that glass surprises me just as watercolor does.
Dichroic glass was developed by NASA for use in space optics and face shields. It has multiple layers of micro carbon particles which reflect the light to create beautiful glass pieces.
