Wednesday was the 8th anniversary of our grandaughter, Hannah, being part of our family. What a joy!
I have still been working on those portraits as well as another one.

I love the unpredictable quality of watercolor and never ending challenges of all media. I enjoy everything from realism to abstraction and experimentation. As a teacher i know that every piece is not a masterpiece but each offers its own learning experience. If you paint do you remember the very first one you did and how wonderful you thought it was? That feeling is to be savored forever. The more we learn, the more critical we become of our own work and we never stop learning and I hope we never stop growing.
