Seem to be in a bit of a slump production wise. Have taught some classes and did another YUPO demo in Castro Valley. Saw an old friend, Maybelle Rasmussen, going strong at 94!
So many ideas in my head I just have to let them roll around until something becomes obvious to me? I have had some false starts. Thinking about portraits more. I have always had a love of faces and perhaps I will do some family pieces. Who knows? I seem to at a point where some of the old standbys are boring to me. Not that I am a flawless painter. No way. Just different things appeal. Beginning to have better understanding of artists such as Picasso and the extreme changes in style they went through. Or maybe it's just Spring fever.

Hello, Grace! Sometimes I think we just need to regroup. I got burnt out with juggling care giving and all family needs with trying to fit in my time. I gave up and took a break and now I am planning on starting up again on my painting. Good luck with your funk, it will go away!
